"A relaxing stay. The weather proved kind to us. We enjoyed our time in your comfortable cottage. For future guests, pop along to the baker down the road (which is open very early) for scrummy bread and cakes – bliss." Simpsons

"We had a lovely weekend in your cottage. It was very comfortable and very well equipped. We felt very at home here – it was a very welcoming atmosphere. Thank You." M Rignall

"We have spent a fantastic week here exploring and going for long walks. The cottage is a most comfortable and relaxing base to return to after a full day. The weather has been glorious, absolutely nothing to complain about and the wine went down a treat." Many thanks. Jo and Martin

"Had a fab week, weather fantastic. Cottage lovely and well equipped, everyone really friendly, bakery, oh well we must have put a stone on with all the cakes and pies we ate. You must go on North 58 boat trip from Banff – great, great, great. Will be back soon, Oct, Nov to see the sea in the winter…" Wendy, Chris, Becky, Lauren, Kris and Jess the dog

"Had a brilliant week. Cottage is more than comfortable and this part of Scotland is stunning." Many thanks, Gillia, Glynn, George, Sophie & Elliot

"Had a wonderful week in Gardenstown and the area. We first came 8 years ago and the charm of the place eventually encouraged our return – and we have not been disappointed. Weather was pretty good – well better than most of the rest of the UK anyway! We will return to this “world outside the world” – I hope we can." Arwel and Kate

"Very comfortable cottage, very well equipped. We really enjoyed our week here in this beautiful village. We would not hesitate to return to Mitchell’s Cottage and would highly recommend it to family and friends. Highlights were Tyrie Castle and Haddo House." John and Norah, Alloa, Robert and Theresa Bonnar, Alloa

"We had a very fantastic and lovely stay. The weather gave us a big 'smile' making our stay a very memorable one. We would not hesitate to say the cottage is a home from home – neat, quiet and well equipped." Helen and Sunny

"We must thank you for the lovely bed linen. You don't always get 100% cotton in holiday homes but for me it is certainly something I noticed and appreciated." Thanks for a wonderful stay, Jock Morrison born in Maud and his family from Devon

"Have had a lovely week with our three little boys and have been very lucky with the weather! The cottage has been perfect for us and the village is lovely - we particularly enjoyed walks along the seafront and had fun watching a young otter in the harbour on New Year's Day. If you have kids we'd recommend the Macduff Sea Aquarium, the Lighthouse Museum in Fraserburgh (good cafe - nice roast on a Sunday!) and the playpark at Whitehills; we also had a fantastic walk along (and up and down) the dunes at Rattray today." Ann Marie, Chris and Family

"Have had a wonderful long weekend here - wish we could have stayed for the whole week! Loved the cottage and the village and in particular, the pub and it's warm and welcoming atmosphere." David and Agnes, Edinburgh
